As an artist, I have always loved photography. I’ve had a camera in my hand since childhood and have been a professional photographer for over 25 years.
It has given me the ability to stop a moment in time – to look at that moment days, months, or years later. And yet, it also allows me the freedom to interpret that same moment in many forms and from many perspectives. I can 'alter' time through color, clarity or vantage point. This theme runs through my images. Many times, each piece has its own theme. All of them simply represent the way I see.
Many of the images in these galleries might not be considered “wall art” – images that you want to hang on your wall and look at every day. The purpose of my photography is not simply to create images which are beautiful to look at, but rather to capture the mundane and fascinating details of life that you walk by every day and never see.
